Progress

We are doing so well with our new healthy habits! We’ve been eating a ton of fruits and veggies, learning about meat and dairy substitutions (mainly through trial and error...there are a ton out there, some better than others), and feeling like this is something we can stick to permanently. Giving up sugar and dairy has been the hardest on me, but it gets easier the more you stay away from it.




We have some new kids on the block plant-wise. Another paperwhite bloomed and the crocuses have come up from the basement. My hyacinth is down there now, so hopefully we’ll have her to look at when the crocuses have gone.







And my wonderful fiance made a wonderful Indian meal on Saturday. We had my parents out to the house to thank them for watching the boys while we were in Oklahoma. This food is all veggie, full of protein, dairy free, and absolutely delicious!














Today we are going to get our membership to the YMCA (finally!) and this week is our week to schedule doctor's appointments. So far, for 2010, we're right on track!
