Remember us?

We're back...and very sorry for the extended absence! We came home from Scotland and leapt right into a very hectic real world. But we're starting to normalize again, getting back into the rhythm of our days, and this little space has become a huge part of that for me. I've given it a makeover and a new name and I promise I'll be around regularly with posts.

So what's new since we got back from Scotland?

I've had an unreal couple of months with work. I have been thinking about quitting to be a janitor. Or a mail lady. And I'm only kind of kidding.

Beyond that, though, we made a move to a new town and a new lifestyle. We are no longer single family house dwellers...we now have a second floor apartment home. We're saving a lot of money on rent, we live in an unbelievable town, and our kitchen is bigger...but it's a big adjustment to live over someone else and not to have a deck/yard/basement to ourselves. We'll get there, though!

I will write a post about all of these things and more, with pictures, but I wanted to get this post out there to say hi and let you know we are, actually, alive and well.

I'll leave you with pictures of our new homemade laundry powder, which we now use exclusively, a sleeping Wilbur, and my sweet pea flowers...all from before Scotland.
