26 Things to Do

It's that time of year again! Here are my 26 things I want to do before I turn (gulp) 27. I think, and this wasn't the case with my last list, that accomplishing all of these things in a year is totally reasonable.
  1. Knit a sweater. Or three. I already have my first pattern picked out!
  2. Visit Wisconsin and/or Minnesota.
  3. Make puff pastry from scratch.
  4. Make croissants from scratch.
  5. Visit Howell Living History farm.
  6. Visit Duke Gardens.
  7. Go to the Camden Aquarium
  8. Take pictures of the Green Sergeant's Bridge in fall.
  9. Go to the Chatsworth Cranberry Festival.
  10. Tube down the Delaware.
  11. Bake tons of Christmas cookies in December. Tons = cookies overflowing from our apartment windows and into the street.
  12. Do regular yoga.
  13. Meditate regularly.
  14. Go see a financial advisor.
  15. Become a continental knitter.
  16. Go apple picking.
  17. Make applesauce with apples from #16 and can it for winter.
  18. Visit Philadelphia.
  19. Read 5 classics that I haven't read before.
  20. Complete the 365 project on Flickr.
  21. Have an all day picnic in the park down the street with my husband...in the fall, wrapped up in handmade knits, with hot chocolate in thermoses.
  22. Make pierogies from scratch.
  23. Learn first aid.
  24. Make soup weekly in autumn/winter and eat it as an appetizer at dinner.
  25. Read Greek mythology.
  26. Memorize 3 poems.

I'll keep you updated on my progress both in posts and from here...hopefully that'll help me stay on track too!

Love, T.

  1. Great list! What is a continental knitter?

And please post links for your flickr 365. For me, uploading photos is a hassle...do you have an easy way?

    Miss you. And happy birthday!
