Nomadic June

Between Mr. and Mrs. Fath, there will be more days traveling in June than days at home.

We are so excited about (most of) our trips...we're really looking forward to Chris's wedding in Oklahoma and of course, to our honeymoon in Scotland! We have a couple of work-related trips happening as well, but I've promised not to talk about that! Excuse me while I go pack a bag for the month and kiss my boys goodbye.

Sprinkled among all of this travel, I'm bound and determined to complete a few projects that I've had on my list for a long while. Will I actually complete any of them? Only time will tell...but it has never hurt me to dream big! Here's my list:

1. Sew my apron from a pattern.
2. Weave an egg basket.
3. Bake homemade croissants.
4. Make my own laundry soap, inspired by SouleMama.

And I can't leave you tonight without showing you the dinner we ate last night.

Big thank you to Aunt Kim and Uncle Mark for our gorgeous package! We loved everything and this jug is just perfect!

Casy made homemade bratwurst and oh my good Lord. It was amazing. I whipped up some fresh-squeezed (tart) lemonade, Casy made some greens, and we had ourselves a feast!

And aren't those brats handsome surrounded by Corningware? Thank you, Miss Hardiman!

To close our evening together, here's a picture of my husband in sausage parenthesis (his newfound, special place):

Happy Tuesday!
Love, T.
