We just watched the first episode of Jaime Oliver's Food Revolution (you can catch it here if you missed it on TV) and it made me want to cry for a million reasons. It also made me happy for a million reasons.
I loved Jamie Oliver for his beautiful and inspiring cookbooks that I used to check out from the library and for his beautiful and inspiring TV show, the Naked Chef. Now I love him even more for being kind, for believing in and caring about people, and for supporting the revolution of one of humanity's most basic needs.
I think if I had to choose one cause to champion, this would be it. So I'm going to champion it. Ready? Visit Jaime's site. Read about his cause. Sign his petition. Watch his TED Prize acceptance speech. And then go make some good food.
