We started Sunday with a delicious breakfast at the Blue Cottage and then shopped on Hope Street (specifically at a yarn store called Fresh Purls. I could have easily spent way more money than I did...gorgeous yarns). Casy found a good camera store too.
Then, after exploring Providence a bit, we went to Central Falls to see Clair's school and to eat sweet bananas and empanadas. Casy had a cheesy cornbread in a corn husk...I think if I had nothing to eat except that for the rest of my life, I'd be okay.
On our way home, we stopped at a bakery for a Valentine's Day treat and some tea...and then we went back to Clair's apartment to make dinner plans.
We ended up going to Bob and Tim's Grilled Pizza...GQ rated one of their pies as the 5th best pizza in America. And now we know that GQ doesn't know how to rate pizzas. It was a good pizza, but I can definitely name 5 better pies!
We finished the night with some ice cream and a movie and then hit the hay for some sleep before our drive back in the morning.
My sister was an awesome hostess and little Maus was a very patient niece...Casy and I adore her to the point of smothering, so I don't think she was sorry to see us go! Thanks to you both for a wonderful weekend!
Love, T.
