Casy is up tonight working on lesson plans, so I thought I'd stay up with him a bit and write you all a little note. This week has been pretty insane. Casy got one flat tire and damaged a second Tuesday morning. Nothing like aggressive morning commuters who think they can just get into your lane whenever they want! Casy handled it very well (of course), but unfortunately the tires had to be sacrificed.
Then, we were set to have our coffee table delivered today, but it didn't come and I had to get mean with the people at the furniture store. We've waited since August for this table, we've set up several delivery dates, got a delivery confirmation call on Monday and then today I find out, after sitting around all day, that the table is now out of stock. Again.
So. I generally try to keep my cool with people on the phone because I know what it's like to be on the other end of the line, but good Lord. When I eventually got the manager on the phone, she basically told me I was out of luck, but could travel to another store to pick up a floor model if I wanted to (and maybe there would be a discount, but she couldn't promise anything). Casy is going to the store on Saturday to talk some sense into them, so hopefully he'll be able to work something out.
Anyway, the moon was huge and beautiful tonight and I caught Wilbur in my thyme again this morning...this time I had a camera in my hand. I spent a wonderful evening with LG, baking and hanging with Advaita, so life is good, despite these little hiccups. <3
