This Time Last Week...

...we were thinking about Christmas. Lamb, roasted root veggies, breakfast bread and spicy eggs, giving, receiving, joy, warmth, and a whole lot of catch-up knitting.

...it was snowing outside.

And snowing.

And snowing.

...our Christmas tree and all of our Christmas decorations were still up.

...we were playing games and drinking cocoa.

...the cats were sleeping.

Or trying to sleep.

And playing some too.

...our neighbors were gearing up for what was to be a very long day of plowing.

...our bellies and cupboards were full, we were warm, and we were happy. We hope you were too.
