I know I'm on a huge winter kick these days, but another reason I love it so much is because it creates awesome reading conditions. I’ve been inspired to reread Little Women by my friend LG, who is a Little Women fanatic! She says I’m Meg and I say she’s Jo and one of these days we’re going to come into work with our hair up, dressed in big-skirted dresses, carrying our sewing baskets and fountain pens, and ready to attack corporate America as the little pilgrims we are!
Also on my list: A Christmas Carol (I start reading this every year after Thanksgiving…haven’t done that for very long, maybe the last 3-4 years, but I love the book, I love the tradition, and I love the mindset it puts me in), Someone at a Distance, The Two Towers, and Dracula.
I wish that I could show you what my hands have been up to these last few weeks. I’m so excited about what I’m learning (knitting-wise) and what I’m making. But you and I will just have to wait until after the holidays for that.
Clair is coming home next week and I am so super excited to see her. It will have been 5 months since I last saw her! The thing she'll probably be most grateful for on Thursday is her big sister. I just know it.
Our paperwhite is growing quickly! We'll probably have flowers next week...
And I found this at Home Goods this week...I was so excited I couldn't help but post a picture of it:
Here's this year's advent candle and the mushrooms I'll put on our wreath:
And where ever there's a photoshoot, Curious Wilbur isn't far behind:
Love, T.

Aww, hope you feel better! No one likes being sick.
